Each instrument is thoughtfully designed in Taiwan and meticulously handcrafted by an experienced master luthier with over 25 years of instrument-making expertise. Requiring approximately 60 hours of skilled craftsmanship, every monochord is individually built with care, precision, and deep respect for the natural qualities of the wood.
Designed with graceful curves that naturally embrace the body, the Heartfelt Monochord functions as both a musical instrument and a therapeutic sound tool. Its detachable wooden legs allow it to transition effortlessly between floor playing, sound baths, and body sound massage, making it equally at home in personal practice, professional therapy sessions, and ceremonial spaces.

Crafted with Premium Tonewoods
Every Heartfelt Monochord is fitted with 32 carefully selected acoustic strings, combining both bronze-wound and plain steel strings to create the instrument's distinctive harmonic voice.
Unlike conventional strings, each set undergoes our proprietary cryogenic treatment, a specialised deep-freezing process that relieves internal stresses within the metal. The result is an instrument with enhanced resonance, longer sustain, improved tuning stability, and a richer harmonic response.

Every Heartfelt Monochord is handcrafted in Taiwan using carefully selected premium tonewoods, chosen for both their exceptional acoustic performance and natural beauty.
While each collection features a different frame wood, every Heartfelt Monochord is built with premium Canadian Spruce soundboards—a tonewood long prized by master luthiers and traditionally found in world-class violins, guitars, harps, and pianos.
Canadian Spruce is renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, allowing it to respond effortlessly to even the gentlest touch while producing remarkable resonance, long sustain, and rich harmonic complexity. This carefully chosen soundboard forms the heart of every Heartfelt Monochord, ensuring a vibrant, responsive, and beautifully balanced voice.
